FIMMA is a progressive, privately-owned, Australian commercial construction company originally founded by five directors, after whose first name initials the company was named. Our logo is respectful of the company’s history whilst recognising the significance of Ivan Korosa, the “I” in FIMMA, who has been the sole Director since 1992, steering the company to where it is today.

FIMMA has been in continuous operation since 1986, growing into a diverse organisation dedicated to delivering projects of the highest quality and to the satisfaction of our many clients and consultants with whom we collaborate. We are proud of our success and ability to understand each client’s unique project requirements, enabling positive and cooperative working relationships. Our team consists of highly qualified professionals with extensive experience in the construction industry; their wealth of knowledge enables our team to bring high levels of technical expertise to any project we undertake, and to proudly mentor our employees through their chosen careers.

With over 35 years of construction experience, our capabilities are demonstrated on every project we undertake, with successfully completed projects in the Commercial, Educational, Health, Community, Institutional and Industrial sectors. FIMMA has been an active member of the Master Builders Association of Victoria for over 35 years and is registered with the Government's Department of Infrastructure as a pre-qualified contractor. Our team is motivated to accomplish the goals that they set and are supported by a commitment to continuously invest in our systems, empowering all staff with the tools to achieve their highest results.

FIMMA is accredited to ISO 9001:2015 Quality management systems, ISO 45001:2018 Safety management systems & ISO 14001:2015 Environmental management systems standards. Our Integrated Management System (IMS) has been independently certified to these standards which underpin best practice excellence, quality management, risk mitigation, corporate governance, and business performance improvement.

We have incorporated the latest industry online platform that allows us to monitor and control compliance in real-time whilst maximising productivity and efficiency. Weekly inspections are carried out by the site teams and reviewed by management to ensure any issues are identified, monitored, and closed out.


Leadership Team

Ivan Korosa

Managing Director

Founding Director in 1986, Ivan is a highly qualified Engineer with over 40 years of construction industry experience. Commencing his career after graduating with honours as a Mechanical Engineer from Swinburne University, with W.P.L. Industries Pty. Ltd. (later to become), I.CA.L. (Internal Combustion Australia Ltd) and then Transfield Pty. Ltd. Ivan gained valuable experience working within corporate environments on complex and challenging projects. During his extensive career, he has been responsible for delivering numerous successful projects within the education, infrastructure, religious, rail, hospitality, community, industrial, health, and aged care sectors.

Adrian Seymour

General Manager

Adrian has over 40 years of experience managing numerous projects in the health, aged care, commercial, industrial, education, and food and beverage sectors ranging in value up to $86 Million. His experience includes conceptual design coordination, management of design consultants, coordination with planning authorities, management of subcontractors, and financial accountability to the client and company management. A natural mentor and effective leader, Adrian has been instrumental in the development and growth of the FIMMA team, with his consultative management style and sound technical knowledge resulting in a proven track record of project delivery.

Adrian Artico

Construction Manager

Adrian brings over 30 years of industry experience, including previous senior roles as a Construction Manager. His experience spans several sectors, across a wide range of projects of various scales and complexity, from small fit-out works, up to large-scale design and construct, 5 Star Green Star developments valued at over $50 Million. His methodical work ethic enables simultaneous management and support of multiple sites, establishing strong connections with all stakeholders, and delivery of projects safely with minimal risk exposure. His knowledge allows him to identify potential issues early, and diligently work with his teams to ensure minimal impact or delays and a clear path to success.

Mark D'Souza

QHSE Manager

Mark brings over 25 years of professional commercial experience, with a focus on Work Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental management, system integration, compliance, and improvement. His knowledge as a QHSE Manager has been obtained across various industries, enabling him to develop a robust knowledge of relevant legislation, best practice implementation, and maintenance of QHSE integrated management systems. With a proven track record of improving efficiency, delivering strategic and operational change, facilitating internal and external audits, performing detailed risk assessments, enforcing QHSE policies, training staff, and investigating workplace incidents, Mark excels at sustaining safe and compliant work environments.
