South Port Uniting Church Parish Mission

Client:
Uniting Church of Australia
Architect:
C. Kairouz Architects

Construction of the South Port Uniting Church consisted of the demolition and removal of an existing building, including hazardous materials, making way for a new two-storey concrete structure of approximately 900m2 over a 32-week period.

The ground floor accommodates a large secured carpark for the employees, multi-purpose room, kitchen, laundry and amenities. While the first floor contains offices and common areas with meeting rooms, amenities and kitchen facilities. Access to the first floor can be via the two lifts, internal stair or the feature external stairway. Finishing touches include the surrounding landscaping with paved walkways and garden beds which supplement the modern exterior.
